2018 Current Pricing and Specials

Courthouse Special $80
(I meet you and your witness at the Monterey County Recorder's Office in Salinas,
preform a preset one page ceremony, sign the license,
deliver document to recorder's office upon completion.  
(Available 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM M-F only.  No holidays, based on availability only).

$100 for all Salinas Ceremonies !      Zone 1
(Bride, groom, limited guests, basic ceremony - Inside Salinas City Limits only).


$125 for Elopement Ceremonies      Zone 2
(Bride, groom, limited guests, basic ceremony  -  Outside Salinas,  Marina, Seaside, Monterey, Pacific Grove, Gonzales,
Castroville, Prunedale, and Chular.   Not  including beach weddings).


$140 for Simple Basic Ceremonies   Zone 3
(Carmel  Highlands area, Gonzales, Soledad, Watsonville, Pajaro, Carmel, Gilroy  (within city limits)).  

$150 for Simple Basic Ceremonies    Zone 4
(For Greenfield  and King City,  and beyond Carmel Highlands, $150).

Add $1 per mile for locations beyond Soledad city limits - south, west, or east
Add $1 per mile for locations south of Carmel Crossroads.


$150 for Beach Ceremonies
(Couples are responsible for any permit requirements).
Sorry, I am limited on preforming beach weddings due to knee problems.
No longer doing Big Sur beach weddings.
Please check with me on specifics.


$200 For Full Custom Ceremonies.
(Weddings which contain many custom vows or blessing components).


Rehearsals are $80-$120 with booking.
Mileage costs may be applicable on rehearsals.


(Additional $1 per mile  for travel to venues over 45 miles driving one way from Salinas)
Greenfield, King City,
Watsonville, Carmel, Carmel Valley, Gilroy, etc.

$175 For Ceremonies at Monterey County Jail
($50 non-refundable deposit upon signature of "inability to appear" form.
$125 due at time of custody of marriage license)
Due to the nature and amount of time required for this type of ceremony,
the rates for this type of ceremony are based on average time it takes to complete.
In addition, any extra service such as transportation from Recorders office to
Monterey County Jail and back is $20 per trip payable upon transport

Additional Fees

Parking:  If venue requires a parking fee, please include that amount to the above pricing.

Allotted time for ceremony:  One hour from "ceremony start time."
If your ceremony is delayed beyond
one hour of the quoted "start time," please add  late fee of $25.

Consultations:  By phone or by in-Salinas meeting.  No charge.

State Park Permits/ Venue Permits:  
Sorry, I do not do weddings at State Parks and Beaches unless the couple has the required permits.

This includes Lover's Point Pacific Grove City Permit requirements.

Locations out of the area:   Sure thing.  It's all negotiable.  I will travel !

Venue Event Insurance:  $100
(Some Venues Require Event Liability Insurance).


All wedding fees must be paid  by cash, check day of and "prior" to ceremony.


(Note:  Since I am a business, I do pay Federal and State income tax on all weddings.  
Also subject to County and City fees as may be required).
